Navigating through the fashion world made me feel like I babysat ten toddlers, each crawling in their own direction. In the fitting room, I had to console the models, assuring them that they didn’t look bloated in their runway dresses.

They caught me red-handed. How could I explain to Lisa’s mother about being with Grace after she told me not to waste her daughter’s time? Surely she would not approve of seeing me with a woman other than her daughter?
