I’m no angel, but I’ve never cheated on a partner. Karma can be nasty, so I treat people the way I would like to be treated. Cheating usually leads to the destruction of a relationship, but some people choose to forgive their partners.
Women tend to be more forgiving, and that has partially to do with the repercussions of men cheating on women, which is different than when women cheat.
In some cases, both partners cheat for the same reason. A woman tends to cheat because she is sexually unsatisfied, no longer interested in her partner or to get back at her partner for cheating. A man can be sexually satisfied by his loyal woman, love her and still cheat on her.
That’s because sex means different things to men and women. A man can sleep with hundreds of women and not fall in love with a single one. He can consistently cheat on his partner and still go home to the woman he wants to be with for the rest of his life.
Men are visual and women are emotional. A man gives a woman a chance to win him over with her personality after he’s satisfied with her looks. A woman values the way a man makes her feel and what he provides more than his looks. Many women will downgrade their physical appearance standards for men if they provide tremendous emotional and financial support.
Because a man is visual, he can appreciate a woman’s beauty and have sex with her, but it doesn’t mean that he values her as a partner. A woman who cheats with a man who makes her feel special may leave her partner to be with the man with whom she cheated.
The repercussions of men and women cheating are different because the two genders view sex differently and sometimes engage in it for different reasons.
So does a man get a pass for cheating on his woman? That depends on the woman. But I think it’s important for women to know that most men want to spread their seeds as much as possible because that’s how we’re biologically programmed.
A man is as faithful as his options.
The reason most high-quality men don’t settle for one woman is because they know they can have numerous beautiful women. It doesn’t make sense to them to plant their seed in one hole when they can do it in numerous holes.
Some high-quality men choose one woman to spend the rest of their lives with, usually because she is the best option and they don’t want to live their lives without her. But that doesn’t mean that those men don’t find other women attractive and won’t sleep with them.
The more options a man has, the more likely he is to cheat. It’s up to the woman to decide if she can accept the high probability of her man sleeping with another woman.
Most men react differently to women when their partner cheats. To a man, his woman cheating means she no longer wants to be with him. Men are extremely territorial and don’t want their assets used by other men.
Since men and women cheat for different reasons, the effects on the relationship should be interpreted differently.
