I’ve written around 32 short stories for this blog in 2023. Wow, I’m actually surprised it’s that much. I took about three months “off”, and I say that in quotation marks because I still published posts every Friday, but they were articles.
I kinda got sidetracked with other work, whereas my focus should’ve been on writing and this blog. As I mentioned before, starting this blog is one of the best things I ever did. In March 2024, it will be four years old.
To be honest, I should’ve written more than 50 stories this year. Oh, by the way, all of the stories are for free. So feel free to explore the site and find numerous hot, erotic, short stories with various themes. Next Friday, 29 December, I will post a new short story that’s actually inspired by something that happened to me.
As 2023 draws to a close, I felt it was important to look back on the year. As I was going through the titles of the short stories I had written this year, I couldn’t remember the plot for most of them, if not all. So I thought that I’d let statistics speak for themselves.
That’s when I checked the most-read short story by visitors on Jetpack Stats. I must admit that I was surprised to discover the most read story on my blog for this year. Not that it’s bad, but I thought that there were better ones.
After refreshing my memory about the plot, I can see why people enjoyed it. It’s a fantasy but something that can happen to any one of us. When you read it, you might vicariously live through the main character’s life.
I wrote it in the summer, and it proved to be a hit. I believe that readers enjoyed how the two people met, their intimacy, and they wanted to know if they would end up together.
