I’m proud to announce that the first book promotion night of my novel, My Wife and Girlfriend, is scheduled for 1 December 2022. The venue is Sluzbeni Glasnik in Belgrade, Serbia. I love that venue, as it has a small bookshop on the ground floor and a coffee shop upstairs.
It’s a cozy place, furnished with couches and small tables to ensure intimacy. I love intimacy, whether in my books or with a partner. There’s something special about a person touching you or imagining it as you read it in a novel. My novel is filled with intimacy but also with life lessons for all age groups.
Anyway, back to the first night of my book promotion.
I’m excited, nervous, scared and so looking forward to it. Regardless of what happens, I’m glad that I’ve come this far. It can only get better from here. Writing novels and selling them is my passion, and I need to make it a reality. By doing this promotion, I’m taking the first step towards that life. I know it will happen. I can feel it in my soul. A person is most satisfied when they’re working towards fulfilling their life purpose, and I’m doing just that.
I know that my journey will be fraught will challenges, complications and frustrations. But I’m ready for the onslaught. I’ll update this post as the evening for the promotion nears, detailing my journey to it and the progress I’ve made. After the promotion, I’ll add pictures and detail my feelings.
I’ve learnt that marketing isn’t everything—it’s the only thing. McDonald’s doesn’t make the best burgers, but they sell the most because they’re marketing experts. I have to start marketing my book promotion evening, and it starts tomorrow. Wish me luck, and I’ll update you soon.
