Most polls aren’t completely correct, but they do provide interesting insight. A poll conducted in 2022 revealed that young men are having less sex than before. Also, a third of men under 30 said they had not had sex. Even if that percentage is incorrect, I’m not surprised that men are having less sex.
Some publications stated the reason was that men were prioritizing careers and hobbies over sex. Yeah, right. Whether a man is a blue-collar worker or a billionaire, he’s not saying no to sex if she’s hot enough.
Other reasons cited were that men didn’t have time or money. Another misconception was that more men were joining the movement of those who are walking away from dating because they are fed up with women.
Some men are fed up with women, but why? The answer to this question will bring us to the real reason that men are having less sex.
Sure, some men have raised their standards because they went through a bad divorce, and they’re more selective about the female company they keep. But most men are involuntary celibate. Women have decided for men that they’re not going to have sex by not putting out their koochie.
The real reason young men are having less sex is that women have raised their standards so much that only a small percentage of men meet their criteria.
Ask women about their ideal man and most will give you a long list of his physical traits. His financial status is extremely important to them. Most women want a tall man who is making a lot of money. Those two traits are vital for them to be attracted.
The problem isn’t just that most men are not tall and financially well-off; it’s also that the majority of women will not accept anyone other than the tall affluent guy. About 15% of men in the US are 6 feet or taller. So far, only 15% of men stand a chance of getting laid, according to the standards of most women.
But even most of the men that belong to that group struggle to have sex because they’re not making a lot of money.
You may have heard many women mention that their ideal man needs to make six figures. If you thought that meant $100,000, in most cases, you would be wrong. Many women want a man who makes $250,000 and more. If you think that’s ridiculous, you are correct.
The Census Bureau reported that only 5% of Americans make $250,000 or more in a year. That includes women.
Now do you see that most women are competing for a small percentage of tall top earners while avoiding the majority of men?
Obviously, anomalies exist. Some average men have the option to have sex but have chosen to be celibate. But that’s not the case for most men. A lot of men these days are struggling to have sex because they don’t meet the ridiculously high standards that women have imposed.
Remember the good old days when sharing interests with her and taking care of your appearance was enough to attract her? For the most part, that no longer applies. These days, a man has to be tall, good-looking and a top earner to stand a high chance of having sex.
A small percentage of men are having sex with most of the women. That makes sense because most women have reported having more sex than most men.
The unrealistic expectations most women have when choosing a man hasn’t affected only sexual encounters. The marriage rate has fallen to a 50-year low. Accompanying that is the drop in the birth rate.
If a woman won’t have sex with you, why would she marry you?
