Mila reserved Sundays for tanning at the Bricken River Island. It was her only day off, and she used it to relax by herself. Men would often make remarks, trying to get her attention, but she swatted them away like flies.

In college, she was engaged to J.T., and the wedding was scheduled for one month after graduation. Not only was she on her way to becoming a medical nurse, but she felt that her life would be complete after she married the man of her dreams. The only thing left after that would be to have children.

The jubilance she exuded on her face for the future vanished when she found J.T. in bed with her best friend.

Having her energy drained and her soul battered, Mila moved to a small town, hoping for peace and recovery. It was also a ploy to be in a place inhabitated by a small number of men. The less interactions she had with them, the better she would feel.

She didn’t hate men; she just didn’t want to rely on them in any way. Having feelings for a man and hoping that he would return her feelings felt to her like dependence. Heaven forbid that she would be oppressed by a man because she relied on him financially.

Although a nurse, Mila had an average income because of her location. It was enough to cover her bills, and she dedicated about three hundred dollars to savings monthly.

The hours at the hospital were long, and she was permitted only one day off because of staff shortage. Her boss had a ‘take it or leave it’ attitude about employment. He didn’t grant any bonuses, but he did encourage staff to exert extra effort and show enthusiasm.

Mila was anything but enthusiastic. Her tenth anniversary at the hospital coincided with her forty-second birthday. Insufficient income, unsatisfactory work environment and no hope of a better life made Mila depressed about waking up and despondent about the future.

After working thirteen-hour days for weeks, Gareth decided to walk around Bricken. Being cooped up at home had deprived him of sun, exercise and human interaction.

Looking at the water to his right, Gareth spotted a fit woman in a black bikini, stepping out of the water. Her suntan lotion and moist skin made her appear to be glowing. Gareth was taken aback by this physical specimen. He wanted to know more about her.

As she walked further up the beach, he wanted to know where she would go so he could follow her. Not wanting to seem like a stalker, Gareth pulled out his phone and pretended to do something important on it.

He saw her walk behind him and then lie down on the towel to his right. Gareth felt that this was the perfect opportunity.

“Hi. How’s the water? I’ve never swam here,” he said.

“It’s perfect. You should go for a dip.”

Is that her way of trying to get rid of me? thought Gareth.

He made the right decision by persisting, as Mila responded to his engagement, and he eventually sat on the grass next to her.

The conversation turned to careers, and Gareth saw that Mila was unhappy with her job and the misery had spread to other areas of her life. Not having many options in women, he dissuaded himself from giving up. But Mila smiled occasionally, and Gareth liked that she was open to his charms.

The sun had set after their half-an-hour chat. After Mila got dressed, Gareth told her he wanted to treat her to ice cream. It had been a long time since a man had bought her anything because she resisted, so she felt that it was a delightful suggestion.

She smiled and thanked him for the ice cream. At the exit, Gareth said that he would walk Mila to her car. She had arrived with a bus, so he offered her a lift.

After contemplating it, she said, yes. At his car, Gareth opened the door for Mila, which she highly appreciated. Although she wanted to steer clear of men, she enjoyed chivalry.

Gareth had rubbed her up the right way. Something about his energy and absence of expectations had made her feel comfortable, so she was curious to see where it would go.

On the way to her home, Gareth told her about his successful e-commerce business. His drop shipping model had earned him several hundred thousand dollars in annual revenue, and he wanted to go to China to seek better suppliers.

“I’m a businessman. I don’t like doing house chores, cooking and cleaning—it’s really not my thing. I need somebody to do that for me, and I’m prepared to pay well for the right person,” said Gareth.

“Is that so?” she asked, smiling. “And what else would that person need to do?”

“Massage me and maybe other things if she is up for it.”

“Aah, I see.”

“Of course, I would throw in spending money and performance bonuses into that package.”

“Oh, wow. That sounds like an attractive deal.”

“Flights, accommodation and food are all paid for. You take care of me…,” Gareth puts his hand on her leg, and she looks at it and then he adds, “…I’ll take care of you.”

She looks at him from the corner of her eyes and smiles. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Surely she knows that? Gareth is giving her a chance to travel the world, free herself of the miserable existence she feels she’s trapped in and be in the company of a gentleman who treats her well. What more could a girl ask for?

Gareth pulls up in front of her apartment. “Think about it,” he says.

She smiles and then shakes his hand. “It was wonderful to meet you.”

“I’ll call you.”

“Okay.”

At home, Gareth was excited at the prospect of having a travelling companion. Not only would she keep the Airbnb rental clean, but she would prepare food for him after a long day’s work, massage him, and he could empty his balls inside of her.

Just thinking about cumming inside her made him hard. He pulled out his dick on the couch and stroked it while thinking about Mila on her knees, smiling while having his dick in her mouth.

She took his dick out of his mouth and then rattled it before shoving it into her mouth and gurgling as it poked her throat.

He pictured her standing up and then facing her back to him before pulling down her g-string and lifting up her dress. She slowly lowered her ass onto his dick, and he grabbed her waist before jumping on it.

While jumping on him, Mila looked over her shoulder and smiled at him. He saw the protruding vein on her forehead and knew that she was enjoying the sex as much as he was.

He loved that her pussy and body were tight. For a forty-two-year-old, she had a banging body.

After a few minutes, Mila turned around and sat on Gareth’s dick, her arms around his neck. He grabbed her waist and propped her up as she bounced on his dick. He imagined making eye contact with her, which made him harder as he continued to stroke his dick.

Gareth ran his hands up and down her legs and then smacked her ass. She smiled, cheekily, almost like she wanted him to do it again. He gladly obliged by smacking her other ass cheek. She sped up the humping, her face flushing.

Gareth got highly turned on by picturing her getting off on the aggressive sex, and he felt that he was about to cum. He pictured Mila getting off his dick and kneeling in front of the couch, her mouth open. He shot his load onto her face and some into her mouth.

After emptying out his balls, Gareth opened his eyes and realised that he had to clean his load, which was splattered on the carpet.

In bed, he imagined how much his life would improve if Mila joined him on his travels. He could focus solely on making money while being able to bang her whenever he wanted. She would be his outlet whenever he was frustrated by the hassles of running a business.

He was certain that she would say, yes. How could she not? He was giving her the opportunity of a lifetime. She would make much more money while travelling the world at his expense. She would leave her old life behind and start a new one, filled with adventure, comfort and pleasure.

Gareth planned to reward her financially if she proved herself. Not only would he give her a twelfth cheque and a Christmas bonus, but he would buy her a car when they returned. He didn’t like that she used the bus and wanted her to enjoy the comfort that car ownership provided.

He was so thrilled to meet someone like Mila, with whom he could spend time and feel that he’s got a connection.

In the morning, he called Mila and asked if she was available to meet for dinner. She agrees. Gareth couldn’t wait to see her, but he didn’t want to think about her the whole day, so he buried himself in work.

The hours flew by.

Gareth looked at the clock and saw that it was six pm. He had about half an hour to get ready and then pick up Mila.

She wore a black dress sprinkled with sparkly, diamond-like stones that reached her thighs. When she got into the car, Gareth couldn’t help but sneak in a peek at her legs. They looked so good. He could only imagine how good her pussy would be.

At the restaurant, Gareth asked, “Have you considered my proposal?”

She smiled and raised her eyebrows. “You were serious?”

“Of course. I don’t have time for games.”

“I don’t know. It sounds great, but I’m not sure.”

“About what? Me?”

“You seem nice, but what you’re talking about is a drastic change.”

“Are you happy with your current life?”

“No.”

“Then, you need a change.”

She snorted a laugh. “I guess.”

“I don’t wanna put any pressure on you. Weigh up the pros and cons of travelling with me and your current situation. See which one is more appealing. My suggestion is that you let your heart make the decision and not let fear stop you. That’s all I’m going to say about that topic.”

Mila appreciated that Gareth didn’t pressure her. She felt that he offered a helping hand and would accept her decision. She really liked that because she didn’t feel obligated to say, yes.

At the end of the week, Mila called Gareth.

“I thought about your proposal,” she said.

“Good. What did you decide?”

“I’d like to take you up on it.”

He smiled. “Great. I’m glad. You’re gonna have the time of your life.”

Mila smiled. Gareth sensed her anxiety through her silence, but he figured that she had jitters, which was completely normal. They agreed to meet at the airport because Mila’s mother would drop her off to bid her farewell.

Gareth felt that his life had improved significantly since meeting Mila. As a 50-year-old man, he was worried about never having a partner. Now that Mila was going to travel with him, he would use that opportunity to treat her well as an employee and persuade her to be in a relationship with him.

At the airport, Gareth looked up at the departure board and saw that the plane would leave in an hour. Mila was supposed to be at the airport forty minutes ago.

He called her again, but she didn’t answer. He was uncertain if she couldn’t hear her phone because it was in her bag. Or maybe she had forgotten it at home. But even so, why was she still not at the airport?

Over the intercom, a lady announced the final boarding call for Shanghai. Gareth looked around, uncertain if he should wait longer. What’s the point? he thought. If she wanted to come with me, she would’ve been here by now.

At home, Mila stared at her phone. She contemplated calling Gareth to tell him that she had changed her mind. She opted against doing so because she didn’t want him to shout at her or tell her that he was disappointed. Mila hated letting people down.

Travelling the world with Gareth sounded great to Mila. Her prayers were answered, but she thought that it was too good to be true. Even though Gareth was nothing but a gentleman, her negativity overshadowed his kindness.

She also feared being close to him. If he treated her really well, she could develop strong feelings for him and could risk getting hurt again.

Attending to every one of Gareth’s needs made her feel traditional and submissive to him, and she didn’t want that. She felt that she was independent and didn’t want to rely on any man. She forgot that she had a male boss who treated her badly and offered worse work conditions than Gareth’s position.

All in all, Mila felt that change was too scary. She had gotten so used to living the way she did, even though she hated it. But at least, she was used to her routine. She felt her life was boring and wanted to spice it up, but she couldn’t believe something great could happen to her.

The offer, alone, from Gareth should’ve been enough to make her leap at the opportunity, not even taking into consideration his cavalier disposition. Yet, her ego, fear and pride won the day.

Congratulations, Mila, you showed Gareth that he’s not in charge of you. You’re supposedly strong and don’t need anyone. But you’re miserable. You had the chance to make your dreams come true, but you decided to punish a good guy because of your ex-fiance’s mistakes.

The problem is that Gareth isn’t working a job he hates. He’s not stuck in the same town, doing the same old, mundane tasks because he doesn’t have money to travel. He’s positive about the future and will have a family. But you won’t.
